91视频l Celebrates 15 Years of Fighting Pediatric Cancer with Alex鈥檚 Lemonade Stand Foundation
Leading child care provider raises more than $90,000 in 2024
Glen Mills, Pa. 鈥� November 14, 2024 鈥� Life lessons make a lasting impression on children when they have opportunities to get involved. That鈥檚 the idea behind 91视频l鈥檚 character-building curriculum and philanthropic partnership with (ALSF), which takes a hands-on approach to teaching young children about the importance of giving back. Putting these lessons into action, Malvern School students and staff across 27 locations raised $91,072.73 in 2024 to help ALSF support children fighting cancer. 91视频l, a part of the Busy Bees Family and one of the largest child care providers in North America with more than 225 schools across Canada and the United States, presented this donation to ALSF at an awards presentation on Thursday, November 14 at the Radisson Hotel Northeast in Trevose.
鈥淚 see my daughter, Alex, in every one of these students from 91视频l, as they raise money to help fund critical research and treatments for kids with cancer,鈥� said Liz Scott, ALSF鈥檚 co-executive director and mother to ALSF founder, Alex Scott. 鈥淭he fight continues, but Alex鈥檚 spirit and mission of finding cures for all kids is carried on in a deeply meaningful way by these young children, educators, and families, making a powerful impact in the fight against childhood cancer. In 2024, 91视频l celebrated 15 years of supporting ALSF, a commitment that goes beyond fundraising and brings giving back into the classroom and teaches lifelong lessons. This year鈥檚 fundraising activities included hosting lemonade stands, lemon relays, art auctions, family dining events, carnivals, and more.
With this donation, 91视频l community has raised more than $1.3 million in total for the cause. This support has funded more than 25,000 hours of research, leading toward cures and improved quality of life for children with cancer. 91视频l鈥檚 donations have also contributed to programs like SuperSibs and Travel for Care that help families dealing with childhood cancer diagnosis.
